Litter pickin

This term has started by a small team of our trainees evangelists helping litters pick in the Newtown area - we will be offering to clean up and tidy up gardens in the area over the winter period so if you know someone who needs a hand - send us a mail.

Old fashioned approach

Recently Anina took some of the students out for a bit of good old-fashioned door knocking. She was actually doing a community questionnaire but we had some great conversations and someone was invited and has started coming to church since.

Art Group

Raphaelle Jones and I have set up an Art Group in Blacon's Hope Centre.
It's a place for adults to come and take 2 hours out of their week to be creative and try out different art techniques every Thursday afternoon between 1-3pm.

So far we've experimented with clay, pencil sketching portraits and acrylic paint.
I've ended up covered in paint and clay quite a bit but that's half the fun.

The group's really lovely, the people who come are funny and friendly. We're a welcoming bunch so please come down and try your hand at some art. Plus we've got buscuits so now you've got to come!
